Singhagiri was founded by late Mr. Sugathadasa Marasinghe in 1972 and was later incorporated into a private limited liability company as Singhagiri Ltd. Singhagiri (Pvt) Limited First Introduced SAMSUNG to Sri Lanka in 1983 and was appointed initially as the authorized agent for “Samsung” range of electronic & electrical products. Amidst difficult market conditions, Singhagiri was able to take Samsung to new heights and recorded exceptional performance since its inception. Today Samsung is a key brand sought after by many consumers, due to its innovative and sophisticated products.

Since its humble beginnings, Singhagiri has managed grow its product portfolio and as of now has managed acquire the partnership of many world class brands like Samsung, Hisense, HP, Oppo, Vivo, Havells, Godrej and Ferre. Singhagiri has also succeeded in building its own product brand, under the name SGL.

The distribution is carried out by the company owned branches, island-wide, duty Free shop at the arrival lounge B.I.A. Katunayake, dealer channel & project sales division. Main flagship store is situated at T. B. Jaya Mawatha Colombo 10. Main service center is also situated adjacent to the flagship store, and is well equipped with overseas trained engineers and technicians with state of the art equipment to carry out repairs and service.
